Armstrong International AM-93 Steam Humidifier
Armstrong International AM-93 Steam Humidifier
Description:
Armstrong AM-93 Direct Area Conditioned Steam Humidifier is a direct-area unit in Armstrong's 9000 AM/AMAF Series that humidifies a space by injecting conditioned steam directly into the occupied area, with dispersion options via jet (AM) or air‑fan (AMAF). It uses a pneumatic humidistat located in the space to sense humidity and an in‑space air operator to open and close the steam valve. Capacities available in this family include 30, 80, 200, and 300 lb/hr, with minimum ceiling heights and required ceiling clearances that scale with output (AMAF: 30 lb/hr at 10 ft height and 3 ft clearance; 80 lb/hr at 12 ft and 4 ft; 200 lb/hr at 16 ft and 8 ft; 300 lb/hr at 20 ft and 8 ft; AM: 30 lb/hr at 10 ft and 4 ft; 80 lb/hr at 12 ft and 6 ft; 200 lb/hr at 16 ft and 8 ft; 300 lb/hr at 20 ft and 8 ft). Inlet connection sizes vary by model within the AM/AMAF 9000 direct-area family: 90 and 91 use 1/2 in NPT; 92 uses 3/4 in NPT; 93 uses 1-1/4 in NPT; 94 uses 2 in NPT. The AM-93 is designed for direct-area conditioned steam delivery in HVAC applications, providing reliable humidity control in spaces such as offices, hospitals, schools, and light manufacturing workflows when configured for direct-area dispersion.
