Armstrong B1673-3 Bucket Mechanism & Seat for Traps is the replacement lever-and-seat assembly for Armstrong inverted bucket steam traps models 215, 315, 415 and 815. This pressure-change assembly attaches to the bucket and sits atop the trap, where the mechanism is free-floating and mounted at the top to minimize dirt around the orifice. When steam is present, internal bucket pressure keeps the lever up and the seat closed; as condensate forms and the bucket sinks, the linkage pulls the valve off the seat to purge condensate and air.
