Armstrong International C4425-2 Valve

Armstrong C4425-2 is a 1-1/2" NPT cast-iron Y-strainer with a blowdown connection, designed to protect steam and condensate lines by filtering debris before traps and equipment. The strainer uses a 0.045" perforated screen to trap fine particulates while preserving flow, with a blowdown port that facilitates cleaning without removing the body. Rated for maximum steam non-shock pressure up to 250 PSIG at 406°F (17 bar at 208°C), the C4425-2 is suited for moderate- to high-temperature steam service in industrial plants. Applications include steam headers and condensate returns where upstream protection of traps and valves is required, with 1-1/2" NPT connections and a dedicated blowdown drain to support routine maintenance.
