Armstrong International D4977 Steam Trap Valve Station

Armstrong TVS-4000 Series Trap Valve Station, a stainless steel version, combines two piston-style isolation valves, a test valve, and an integral stainless steel strainer with blowdown into a single, versatile package for steam-trap service. The D4977 1/2" configuration provides 1/2" (15 mm) and 3/4" (20 mm) connection sizes and is adaptable to any manufacturer’s two-bolt steam trap and piping configuration. It handles flows up to 1300 lb/hr, with a maximum allowable pressure up to 400 psig (28 bar) and a maximum allowable temperature of 750°F (399°C), with CF8M stainless steel body connectors and 304L stainless steel trap components. Armstrong’s unique connector makes TVS-4000 compatible with a wide range of trap types — inverted bucket, disc, thermostatic, thermostatic wafer, bimetallic, float and thermostatic — and supports inline service with upstream/downstream depressurization for safer maintenance.
