Armstrong International GD-24 Pressure Reducing Valve

Armstrong's GD-24 Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing Valve is a compact, bronze-bodied water PRV designed for reliable inlet-to-outlet pressure reduction in commercial and industrial piping. Available in six NPT sizes from 1/2" to 2" (including a 1" version), the GD-24 uses a Cast Bronze body (ASTM B584), mounts in any position, and requires no external sensing lines. It features an external adjusting screw with lock, a replaceable inline seat and diaphragm, and a rugged, lightweight design suitable for hot or cold water service. The valve handles inlet pressures up to 230 psig (16 bar) and maximum allowable temperatures up to 175°F (79°C) (210°F/99°C with Viton seals). Note that it is not approved for potable water service under SDWA; use is intended for non-potable water applications. The GD-24 is a direct-acting valve, meaning no pilot or sensing lines are required, making it a straightforward solution for maintaining a selected downstream pressure across a range of water systems.
