AP-225 is Aruba’s indoor dual‑radio 802.11ac wireless access point with integrated antennas and a 3x3:3 MIMO configuration across both radios. Six integrated downtilt omni‑directional antennas support concurrent operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, delivering up to 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 1.3 Gbps on 5 GHz (theoretical maximums), for a combined potential of about 1.9 Gbps. This compact AP is designed for high‑density environments such as office floors, classrooms, or retail spaces, offering seamless coverage without external antenna hardware. It comes in two deployment variants: AP-225 for controller‑based networks and IAP-225 for Aruba Instant deployments, both leveraging ArubaOS/InstantOS to manage clients and enforce security policies. Its dual‑radio design enables simultaneous multi‑band operation to support modern wireless devices, while the integrated antennas simplify installation and minimize cabling.
