Asahi/America Type-23 Multiport Ball Valve, 1.5" nominal size, is a true-union, three-way valve designed to divert or merge flow between three ports within a single body. The 3-way design supports versatile configurations for piping systems that require an alternate flow path without adding a second valve, making it well suited for simple process changes, distribution loops, and multiport routing. Built for thermoplastic service, the Type-23 family is offered in PVC and CPVC (with additional material options such as PP and PVDF for other chemistries), and uses FKM seals to resist chemical exposure while delivering a 150 psi pressure rating for PVC/CPVC variants. The true-union construction enables straightforward field disassembly for cleaning or maintenance without disturbing downstream piping alignment, contributing to reduced downtime in service routines.
