ASCO 5210 Power Meter Monitor 30VDC Max Status Input

The ASCO 5210 Digital Power Meter is ASCO Power Technologies’ standard metering device for transfer switches and power-control systems, delivering real-time data and detailed historical metrics to illuminate load and source activity. It measures voltages (line-to-line and line-to-neutral), current via CTs, frequency, power (kW, kVA, kVAR) and power factor, energy (kWh, kVAh, kVARh), total harmonic distortion, and kW demand with multiple historical periods, and it records engine run time along with min/max historical values; NEC 220.87 compliance is supported for demand calculations. The unit accepts 70–600 V ac nominal inputs (phase-to-phase), 0–5 A ac nominal currents, and true RMS measurements up to the 31st harmonic across 45–65 Hz systems. It can be powered from the AC supply (minimum 70 V L-L AC, about 103 mA / 7.2 VA) and offers an optional backup DC supply (9–36 V dc, 10 W). Communication options include an isolated TTL interface (DB9) and RS-485 Modbus RTU, enabling integration with building management systems and ASCO controls; an ASCO wall-mount enclosure is available for retrofits or new installations. Designed to work with ASCO Power Control Systems and Automatic Transfer Switches, the 5210 provides immediate display of metered values and long-term trends to support energy management, reliability, and NEC-compliant demand reporting.
