ASCO 8210G001 is a brass-bodied, 2-Way, 2-Position Pilot-Operated Solenoid Valve from the Red-Hat 8210 General Service line, designed for general service with compressed air, inert gas, water and light oil. This normally closed (NC) valve employs an internal pilot mechanism and uses 3/8 in pipe-size ports (FPT) with a 5/8 in orifice and a Cv of 3, enabling reliable flow at differential pressures up to 150 psi. It is rated for temperatures up to 180°F (82°C) and carries UL safety shutoff certification. Coil configurations vary; the 8210G001 family is offered with 12 VDC, 24 VDC, or 120 VAC (60 Hz) or 110 VAC (50 Hz) coils, depending on region.
