ASCO 8222A66 Valve

ASCO 8222A66 is a 1/2-inch nominal, two-way pilot-operated solenoid valve designed for on/off control of hot fluids and steam. The valve uses NPT connections and is available with 120 VAC (60 Hz) or 110 VAC (50 Hz) coils, corresponding to part numbers such as 8222A66-120/60 and 8222A66-110/50. Its design supports fluid temperatures up to 324°F and ambient temperatures up to 85°F, making it suitable for steam and hot-water services in commercial equipment. As part of the 8222 Series, the valve employs a pilot-operated, Y-body arrangement (floating piston or diaphragm) to translate electromagnetic actuation into valve movement.
