ASCO EF8210G3 2-Way Normally Closed Solenoid Valve

ASCO EF8210G3 is a 3/4-inch NPT, two-way, normally closed, pilot-operated brass solenoid valve designed for general service with air, water, and light oil media. The brass body features female connections and a 2/2 NC configuration that closes the flow path when the coil is de-energized. The valve is offered in coil variants for 120 VAC (60 Hz) and 24 VDC; the 120 VAC version typically consumes about 6.1 watts at 60 Hz. Media temperature range is 32 to 180°F and ambient operating range is 32 to 125°F, with a recommended operating pressure range of 5 to 150 psi for air service (and similar ranges for compatible media). It is UL listed and CSA certified, meeting common safety standards for shutoff valves in commercial equipment. Common installations include water supply control, compressed-air lines, and light-oil service in laundry and car-wash equipment, where a compact, normally closed valve is required to fail closed in the event of power loss.
