Ashcroft 4080-100PSI Pneumatic Transmitter

Ashcroft® 4080 Indicating Pneumatic Transmitter converts input pressure into a proportional low-air-pressure signal for remote indicators or controllers, using a Bourdon-tube sensing element and a 316 stainless steel input. The 4080 family provides 3–15 psi and 3–27 psi output ranges, with supply air requirements of 18–20 psi for the 3–15 psi range and 30–35 psi for the 3–27 psi range. It draws about 0.1 SCFM of air, and the signal can travel up to 1000 ft; typical mounting weight is 9 lb. Performance specs include ±1.0% of span accuracy, ±0.1% of span sensitivity, and 0.15% of span repeatability; ambient temperature effect is 0.5% of span per 50°F. The process connection is 1/2 NPT (ordering code 04). The transmitter operates as a self-nulling motion-balance instrument, using a pneumatic relay that follows a non-bleed force-balance principle.
