The Assembly Automation SA-2.5 Screw Feeder Feed Unit provides automated presentation of medium-sized screws to pneumatic or electric drivers on a 120 V AC supply. Designed for screws up to 1/4 in diameter and 2.5 in long, the SA-2.5 uses a 14 in diameter bowl with an 11.5 lb capacity and features hardened, ground tool steel escapements and tracks for wear resistance. The unit measures 24.5 in long by 14.5 in wide by 14.5 in high, with a door height max of 25.5 in and a weight of 250 lb. It requires 8 CFM of compressed air at 80 psi (feeder only) and draws 5 A at 120 VAC, 60 Hz (240 VAC 50 Hz available). The feed tube length is 14 ft, with options to extend up to 30 ft, and noise is under 72 dBA. Compatible with most pneumatic and electric screwdrivers, the SA-2.5 can be used alone or with diverters to feed multiple spindles from a single feed unit.
