Description:

The ATC Diversified Electronics UPA-130-GOV is a 30 mm Universal Power Alert voltage detector (government version) whose amber LED indicator visually signals the presence of voltage in electrical panels, motor control centers, and related switchgear. It uses four terminations (L1, L2, L3, GND) with four 8 ft, 18 AWG 1000 V leads for panel wiring, and is designed to fit a 30 mm knockout in rugged industrial installations. The device’s operational range spans 40–600 VAC (AC, single- or three-phase, line-to-line or line-to-ground) and 30–1000 VDC (DC or stored energy), with a maximum rating of 750 VAC / 1000 VDC and voltage-detection thresholds of about 29 VAC for three-phase, 40 VAC for single-phase, and 27 VDC (typical cutoff). Power consumption is approximately 1.2 W at 750 VAC, and the enclosure is totally encapsulated for environmental protection. It carries UL-1452 listing and weighs around 7 oz. Storage and operating temperatures span -40 °C to 85 °C (-40 °F to 185 °F) and -20 °C to 55 °C (-4 °F to 131 °F), respectively, ensuring reliability in harsh environments. The GOV variant emphasizes the amber LED signaling within the UPA-130 series and is built for government applications requiring a robust, clearly visible voltage alert in electrical safety workflows.
