ATI Industrial Automation 9121-DKD-T Tool Module

The ATI 9121-DKD-T Ethernet/IP Tool Module is the tool-side component of ATI’s DKD tool changer family, designed to integrate with a 9121-DKD-M Master module to assign Tool-ID values from 0 through 9 and to pass DeviceNet and auxiliary power to the downstream tooling. It places Tool-ID selection at the tool side via a pushbutton switch, and supports Tool-Stand Interlock (TSI) signaling through a dedicated M12 connector, enabling safe, coordinated tool changes within ATI’s compact DKD assemblies. Built for rugged industrial use, the tool module features an anodized aluminum housing, precious-metal-plated spring contacts, and nitrile seals, with the tool unit weighing about 1.40 lb (0.64 kg) and the master module about 2.15 lb (0.98 kg). Electrical and signal handling includes 24VDC control signals and pass-through signals rated up to 5 A / 250 V, simplifying power and data routing to attached devices. The DKD-T module supports Ethernet/IP communications and is intended for use in ATI tool changer systems where a reliable, compact, multi-function arrangement is required for automated manufacturing, assembly lines, and material handling.
