Description:

The AVR1A is an adjustable voltage-sensitive relay from Atkinson Electronics that automatically connects or disconnects a load when the sensed voltage crosses user-set thresholds, with differential behavior to prevent chattering. It accepts multiple input signaling options—0–5 VDC, 0–10 VDC, or 4–20 mA—selected via onboard jumpers, allowing direct interfacing with common sensors, controllers, and automation modules. Powered from either 24 VAC (±10%, 50/60 Hz) or 24 VDC (±5%), the AVR1A drives a Schrack RTB14024 24 VDC relay with a contact rating of 12 A at 30 VDC and 12 A at 120–250 VAC (resistive); the unit also features LED indication of the relay state and a Wieland terminal block for secure wiring. Applications span analog-to-on/off control, differential signaling, and low/high limit set points in HVAC interfaces, battery management, and other automation tasks, with electrical life exceeding 250k operations and mechanical life over 30 million cycles.
