Atlas Sound FA138 Video And Audio Equipment Accessories

The Atlas Sound FA138 is a Strategy Series 8" coaxial loudspeaker designed for high‑fidelity voice and music in venues with moderately high or vaulted ceilings. This 100‑W, 8‑Ω unit combines a 1/2" mylar‑dome ferrofluid tweeter with a Kevlar‑reinforced polypropylene woofer (21 oz magnet, 1.5" Kapton voice coil) and a circuit‑board mounted crossover to deliver a broad 75 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response with about 110° dispersion at 2 kHz. It is front‑loaded into acoustically matched enclosures or mounting rings (e.g., FA97‑8) and measures 8.25" in diameter by 3.75" deep with a 7.75" bolt circle, weighing 4 lb 6 oz. For distributed or 70.7V systems, transformer‑equipped variants are available—FA138T87 (up to 8 W), FA138T167 (up to 16 W), and FA138T327 (up to 32 W). The FA138 family is designed to pair with Strategy Series grills and accessories such as FA51‑8, FA170‑8, FA720‑8, and FA730‑8, and can be installed with the FA81‑8 tile‑bridge for ceiling applications.
