Automation Direct D0-05DD-D Programmable Logic Controller

Automation Direct's D0-05DD-D DirectLOGIC DL05 PLC is a compact, DC-powered micro PLC with eight 12–24 VDC inputs and six sinking DC outputs, all packaged in a removable-terminal block. It is externally powered from 12–24 VDC (up to 20 W) and rated for 0–55 C (32–131 F) with 5–95% humidity (non-condensing). The unit provides two RS-232 serial ports (RJ12) for DirectLOGIC/DirectNET and Modbus RTU communications, with baud rates up to 38.4 kbit/s, and supports DirectLOGIC ladder logic programming via DirectSOFT software (v4.0 or later). It features two isolated output commons and removable terminals for easy wiring; no internal fuses are included (external fuse recommended). Designed for small automation tasks such as machine sequencing and standalone control panels, the D0-05DD-D combines 8 discrete inputs, 6 discrete sinking outputs, and DirectNET/K-Sequence compatibility in a compact DL05 footprint. Wiring requires 16 AWG conductors, or two 18 AWG wires, with a 24 AWG minimum.
