Automation Direct D0-16TD2 Discrete Output Module

Automation Direct's D0-16TD2 is a 16-point, 12–24 VDC, current-sourcing discrete output module designed for DirectLOGIC DL05/06 PLCs, enabling compact expansion of digital outputs in budget-conscious automation setups. Each of the 16 outputs can source up to 0.1 A, with a combined capacity of 0.8 A per common, and the module groups outputs into two non-isolated commons of eight points each to simplify wiring. The unit operates from a 12–24 VDC supply and is intended for switching low-current loads such as indicator lamps, small relays, or coil circuits, with a per-point current limit that helps protect the controller. Wiring is facilitated by ZIPLink pre-wired cables, and the D0-16TD2 integrates with DirectSOFT programming workflows for addressing outputs (Y100–Y107 and Y110–Y117) and monitoring status. This module is a compact, economical option for expanding DirectLOGIC digital outputs in DL05/06‑based automation projects.
