Automation Direct D2-230 Programmable Logic Controller CPU Module

The Automation Direct D2-230 PLC CPU Module, part of the DL205 DirectLogic 205 family, provides a compact central controller with 2,048 words of ladder memory and 384 words of V-memory, totaling about 2,432 words of programmable and data storage for small automation projects. It includes a built-in RS-232 serial programming port (RJ12) for initial programming, firmware updates, and serial communications with peripheral devices. The D2-230 operates from 12 or 24 VDC and is designed to drop into a DL205 rack alongside compatible I/O modules, delivering deterministic ladder-logic control for digital I/O, timing, and counting tasks in compact installations. For expanded networking or remote control, the CPU can function as a slave when paired with the D2-DCM Data Communications Module. It is designed to work with DirectLogic 205 I/O modules, supporting classic ladder logic programming methods for straightforward sequencing and control of sensors and actuators.
