The Automation Direct D2-EM Local I/O Expansion Module extends the DirectLogic DL205 family with up to 32 digital I/O points for D2-250-1, D2-260, or D2-262 CPUs. It mounts to the right side of the CPU base (and works with D2-CM expansion bases in a local expansion system) to provide dense, locally wired I/O without burdening the central processor. Powered from an external 18–26.4 VDC supply (typical 24 VDC) with a current budget of 100 mA plus 20 mA per output, it offers isolation up to 1800 VAC for 1 second and operates from 0–60°C with 5–95% non-condensing humidity for digital input/output in the local expansion network.
