Automation Direct DFT-AN-1A Fiber Optic Amplifier

AutomationDirect's DFT-AN-1A is a 1-channel fiber-optic amplifier with a teach-in sensitivity adjustment, a pushbutton interface, and a 10-30 VDC supply driving an NPN output. The unit is housed in a plastic DIN-rail-mountable enclosure (10 x 31 x 60 mm) with a 24 AWG pigtail and a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable exit, and it offers selectable light-on or dark-on operation for flexible sensing. It operates at up to 1.5 kHz switching frequency and is intended for use with plastic cuttable fibers (fiber cable sold separately), featuring IP64-rated protection and IO-Link compatibility not provided. The amplifier conditions fiber-optic sensor signals in automation and control panels, enabling reliable detection in DIN-rail mounted industrial environments.
