Automation Direct DM7-0P-1A Programmable Logic Controller Module

AutomationDirect DM7-0P-1A is a tubular, diffuse photoelectric sensor designed for compact sensing on conveyors and automation lines. It uses infrared light with a 300 mm sensing distance and a 4-wire, 10–30 VDC supply with a PNP output and a 2 m (6.5 ft) axial pigtail connection. Encased in a metal housing measuring 12 mm in diameter and 55 mm long, it carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The device supports selectable light-on or dark-on response via a teach-in button and operates at up to about 400 Hz switching frequency for crisp on/off performance. The family uses diffuse-reflection sensing, making it suitable for detecting small or irregularly shaped parts at close range on production lines. Electrical and safety data are documented with UL Listed File E187310 and RoHS compliance. Note: this model was retired in January 2026 as a discontinued item; AutomationDirect recommends considering the FDM7-0P-1A as a comparable replacement.
