Automation Direct P2-16TD2P PLC Output Module

Productivity2000’s P2-16TD2P is a 16-point 24 VDC discrete output module for Productivity2000 PLCs, delivering sixteen sourcing outputs with a single common and 16 points per common. Each output is rated for 0.25 A continuous and the module requires an external 24 VDC power supply at about 60 mA; wiring is via a removable terminal block (P2-RTB or P2-RTB-1) or ZIPLink pre-wired cables, with the terminal block sold separately. The module operates on 21.6–26.4 VDC, provides around 0.7 V load drop when ON, and offers fast ON/OFF response (about 0.5 ms); overcurrent protection is specified as a 0.6 A minimum and 1.2 A maximum, with independent per-output overtemperature shutdown. Open-load fault detection requires a minimum load current of 113 µA and shows leakage up to 160 µA at 21.6–26.4 VDC. No fuses are included in the module itself. This 16-output card is part of AutomationDirect’s Productivity2000 discrete I/O ecosystem and is used where sixteen 24 VDC sourcing channels are needed across a compact backplane.
