AutomationDirect's SOLO SL9696-RRE is a 1/4 DIN, single‑loop temperature controller with dual main outputs and an auxiliary set of relays, designed to regulate heating and cooling from a single process input on a 100–240 VAC supply. It accepts multiple input signals—including current (0–20 mA and 4–20 mA), voltage (0–5 V, 0–10 V, and 0–50 mV), RTD (Pt100 and JPt100), thermocouples (J, K, T, N, E, R, S, B, L, U, TXK), and an event input—and provides two 5 A Form C (SPDT) relays plus two 3 A Form A (SPST) relays that can be used as either outputs or alarms, with options for heat-only, cool-only, or heat/cool control and control modes including PID, ON/OFF, ramp/soak, or manual. It includes an RS-485 port supporting Modbus RTU slave and ASCII, up to 38.4k baud, for integration with PLCs and automation networks. The unit features a 2-line LED display for process value and setpoint, a 100 ms cycle time, and a compact 96 x 96 mm panel footprint suitable for 1/4 DIN installations.
