Automation Direct STP-DRV-4035 Microstepping Drive

Automation Direct STP-DRV-4035 SureStep Microstepping Drive provides high-resolution control for bipolar stepper motors, delivering up to 3.5 A per phase and up to 140 W of output power with 20 kHz PWM current control for smooth microstepping. It accepts 12–42 VDC input (including ripple) and supports microstep configurations of 400 (200x2), 1,000 (200x5), 2,000 (200x10), or 10,000 (200x50) steps per revolution, making it suitable for 200-step motors that require fine positioning. The drive measures about 3 x 4 x 1.5 inches and weighs 9.3 oz, and uses screw-terminal connections for AWG 18 conductors; mounting can be on either the wide or narrow side with four screws. Control is via pulse, direction, and enable inputs, with DIP-switch settings to select the microstep mode; it's compatible with AutomationDirect SureStep motors and with 4-, 6-, or 8-lead bipolar motors, and is CE-listed.
