AutomationDirect ACTR050-42L-F Current Transducer

ACTR050-42L-F is AutomationDirect's AcuAMP single-phase AC current transducer with a fixed-core design that converts current in the monitored conductor into a 4-20 mA signal for PLCs and control systems. It offers jumper-selectable sensing ranges of 0-10 A, 0-20 A, or 0-50 A, while maintaining true RMS measurement for robust operation in varying waveforms. The device is loop-powered from a 24 VDC nominal supply (12 to 40 VDC max) and delivers a proportional current through a 600 Ω input impedance at 24 V. The monitored circuit can be up to 600 V, and the output is isolated from the measured circuit, meeting safety ratings. The sensor uses a 0.74 inch (19 mm) fixed-core aperture to accommodate typical conductor sizes, with a response time of about 600 ms and an accuracy of 1.0% FS over 10-100% of the selected range. The ACTR050-42L-F employs screw-terminal connections and can be panel-mounted or mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail with an optional adapter. It is UL 508-listed, aligning with industrial control panel requirements.
