AutomationDirect AE1-AN-1A Inductive Proximity Sensor is a compact, tubular metal sensor designed for non-contact detection of metal targets. The 8 mm diameter device has a 45 mm long body and a 1.5 mm nominal sensing distance, making it suitable for tight spaces. The AE1-AN-1A variant provides a NPN, normally open output and is intended for flush-mount installations, with a 2 m (6.5 ft) axial cable for easy wiring to PLCs and automation controllers.
