AutomationDirect AE1-AP-2H Inductive Proximity Sensor

AutomationDirect AE1-AP-2H is an 8 mm diameter tubular inductive proximity sensor designed to detect metal targets in automated equipment. It operates on 10–30 VDC and provides a 3-wire, PNP normally open (NO) output via a 4-pin M12 quick-disconnect connector. The device measures 8 mm by 60 mm with a nickel-plated brass housing and unshielded, non-flush mounting, offering IP67 protection, a nominal sensing distance of 2.5 mm, and a switching frequency up to 2.5 kHz. It withstands an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 C, making it suitable for rugged industrial environments. This compact sensor is well-suited for metal-target detection on automation lines and machinery where space is at a premium.
