AutomationDirect D0-05AR Direct Logic Power Supply

AutomationDirect's D0-05AR Direct Logic Power Supply is a DL05 PLC module in a compact brick form that provides eight AC input points and six Form A relay outputs, all powered from an external 120–240 VAC supply rated at 30 VA. Designed for DirectLOGIC DL05 systems, it requires an external power source in the 95–240 VAC range and supports input frequencies from 47 to 63 Hz. The I/O is organized with two isolated input commons and two isolated output commons, and the six SPST relays are rated up to 2 A per point (6 A per common). Loads can be driven with voltages from 6–240 VAC (47–63 Hz) or 6–27 VDC; the minimum recommended load is 5 mA at 5 VDC. Switching characteristics are fast, with ON-to-OFF and OFF-to-ON transitions typically under 40 ms. The D0-05AR includes status indicators on the logic side and supports DirectNET Modbus RTU communication and RS-232 for basic PLC integration. This combination makes it a compact, economical DirectLOGIC solution for small automation tasks such as simple machine control, sequencing, and process monitoring where eight inputs and six relay outputs are sufficient.
