AutomationDirect D0-06DD2-D Programmable Logic Controller Module

AutomationDirect's D0-06DD2-D is a DirectLOGIC DL06 programmable logic controller module designed for compact, 20-input/16-output DC control tasks. It runs from a 12–24 VDC external supply (up to 20 W) and supports 20 discrete inputs (X0–X23, with high-speed X0–X3 and standard X4–X23) and 16 discrete outputs (Y0–Y15). Input impedances are 1.8 kΩ for the high-speed group and 2.8 kΩ for the standard group. The module provides two serial ports: Port 1 is RS-232 via an RJ12 connector fixed at 9.6 kbps, and Port 2 is RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 (DB15HD) suitable for DirectNET, Modbus RTU ASCII, and K-sequence programming. Programming is conducted with DirectSoft software (version 4.0 or later). Environmental and operating specs include 0–55°C (32–131°F) operating temperature, −20–70°C (−4–158°F) storage, and 5–95% relative humidity (non-condensing). Memory and expansion features listed for the DirectLOGIC DL06 family apply here: roughly 14.8k words of total memory, 7k words for ladder logic, 7k words for user data, and support for up to four expansion modules.
