AutomationDirect D2-08TD2 8-Point DC Output Module

AutomationDirect D2-08TD2 is an 8-point discrete DC output module for the DirectLOGIC DL205 family, delivering eight 12–24 VDC current-sourcing outputs (PNP open-collector) with a single common. Each channel is rated 0.3 A, for a total module current of 2.4 A, and the outputs tolerate an output voltage range of 10.8–26.4 VDC with a typical on-voltage drop of 1.5 V at 0.3 A. A 40 VDC peak rating protects against transients, and each common is fused with one 5 A fast-blow, non-replaceable fuse. The module draws up to 50 mA from the 24 V bus when all points are on and includes a removable terminal block for the eight I/O points. It weighs about 60 g (2.1 oz) and provides LED indicators: a green power LED and red status LEDs for each channel. OFF‑to‑ON and ON‑to‑OFF response times are typically under 1 ms, enabling rapid switching of loads such as relays, solenoids, or indicator lamps. This DL205 discrete output module is designed to plug into AutomationDirect's modular DirectLOGIC system and works with DirectSOFT software for configuration and programming.
