AutomationDirect D4-08TA 8-Channel AC Output PLC Module

The AutomationDirect D4-08TA is an eight-channel discrete AC output module designed for DirectLogic 405 PLCs, delivering eight SSR (triac) outputs that switch 15–265 VAC loads with a per-point rating of 2 A and up to 5 A per common at 30°C (2 A/common at 60°C). Each channel provides a peak voltage rating of 265 VAC and operates at 47–63 Hz, with an ON‑voltage drop of 1.5 VAC at 2 A and response times of 1 ms to turn on and 1 ms plus half a cycle to turn off. The module uses removable terminal blocks included with the unit (D4-8IOCON), offers two isolated commons, and requires a 5 V logic supply up to 250 mA; fusing is 8 A per common (non‑replaceable), and the unit weighs 11.6 oz (330 g).
