The AutomationDirect D4-16TD1 is a 16-point DirectLOGIC discrete DC output module for the DL405 family, designed for 4.5–26.4 VDC operation (5–24 VDC nominal) with sinking, NPN open-collector outputs. Every channel can switch up to 0.5 A per point (3 A per common) with a 40 VDC peak, an ON voltage drop of 0.5 V at 0.5 A (0.2 V at 0.1 A), and fast switching with OFF-to-ON and ON-to-OFF response times around 0.5 ms. The module ships with a removable terminal block, uses two internally connected commons, requires a 24 VDC external supply at 125 mA and a 5 V logic rail up to 200 mA, weighs 9.5 oz, and uses a non-replaceable 5 A fuse per common; ZIPLink compatibility is noted in the wiring documentation.
