AutomationDirect DFP-AP-1A Amplifier

AutomationDirect DFP-AP-1A is a single-channel fiber optic amplifier designed for plastic cuttable optical fibers, providing a PNP switching output with light-on/dark-on selectable logic. It operates from 10 to 30 VDC, draws a modest current, and ships with a 6.5 ft (2 m) axial pigtail for easy wiring; the compact plastic housing measures 10 x 31 x 60 mm and is suitable for 35 mm DIN rail mounting with an IP64 rating. Sensitivity is adjustable via a 12-turn potentiometer with illuminated scale, and a front LED indicator offers quick status visibility. This amplifier is intended for use with plastic cuttable fibers, enabling reliable presence/absence sensing in automation applications such as conveyors, packaging lines, or remote fiber sensor setups.
