AutomationDirect DPTW-80 Differential Pressure Transmitter

AutomationDirect’s ProSense DPTW-80 Differential Pressure Transmitter provides precise differential pressure sensing from 0 to 80 inches of water column, outputting 4-20 mA over a 12-32 VDC supply in a compact two‑wire package. Built with a ceramic sensing element and Viton seals, its wetted parts are 316 stainless steel and it uses a 1/4" female NPT process connection, enabling reliable measurement across liquids, gases, steam, and other media in industrial, commercial, and OEM applications. The transmitter is housed in an IP65/NEMA 4X aluminum enclosure with panel or wall mounting and includes a cable gland and mounting hardware for easy installation. It delivers ±0.5% of full-scale accuracy, with a load impedance of 545 Ω at 24 VDC, and a wide operating range of -10 to 60 °C (compensated range also -10 to 60 °C). A fast 100 ms response time (with the filter function set to 0) supports dynamic differential measurements, and the DPTW-80 is part of AutomationDirect’s ProSense line designed for differential or gauge pressure monitoring. Typical applications include hydrostatic liquid level in pressurized or open tanks and differential-pressure flow elements such as orifice plates, pitot tubes, or venturi tubes, where compact size and reliable 4-20 mA signaling are essential.
