AutomationDirect E-SW05U Industrial Ethernet Switch

AutomationDirect's E-SW05U is a five-port industrial Ethernet switch designed for harsh environments. This unmanaged, store-and-forward device provides five RJ45 10/100Base-T ports with auto-negotiation for 10 or 100 Mbps and supports standard IEEE 802.3/802.3u Ethernet protocols with auto-sensing full- or half-duplex operation. It powers from 10–30 VDC with typical consumption of 1.9 W and can learn up to 1,024 MAC addresses, delivering a memory bandwidth of 1.4 Gbps for traffic handling. The switch offers 1,200 VRMS isolation, operates from -40 to +85°C and 5–95% relative humidity (non-condensing), and complies with UL 508, CSA C22.2/14; EN61010-1, CE and related EMI/EMC standards. For mounting, DIN-rail installation is supported with screw holes provided as an alternative, enabling flexible panel or rack mounting in control cabinets. Typical applications include industrial control networks, drives and HMIs, sensors and actuators, and other Ethernet-based automation tasks where a dedicated unmanaged switch is appropriate.
