AutomationDirect F2-04THM Temperature Input Module

The F2-04THM DirectLOGIC DL205 temperature input module is a four-channel thermocouple interface for AutomationDirect's DL205 PLCs that converts thermocouple signals into direct temperature readings. It supports J, E, K, R, S, T, B, N, and C thermocouples and delivers 16-bit voltage resolution with a temperature readout at 0.1°C/0.1°F. Each channel accepts multiple input formats—0–5 VDC, -5 to +5 VDC, 0–156 mVDC, and -156 to +156 mVDC—and the unit is powered from a 24 VDC supply; programming requires DirectSOFT software v4.0 or later. The F2-04THM does not provide isolated channels, and it is designed to sit on the DirectLOGIC DL205 backplane to enable precise, multi-channel temperature measurement in industrial control environments, with common applications in process temperature monitoring, HVAC control, furnace management, and thermal testing rigs.
