AutomationDirect P3-RX Remote I/O Module LVLC

The AutomationDirect P3-RX Remote I/O Module LVLC is a Productivity3000 remote slave I/O device designed to expand I/O across a network without a second controller. It provides a four-channel communication suite: one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port to connect to a P3-550 CPU for remote I/O expansion, plus RS-232 (RJ12) and RS-485 (removable terminal) serial ports and a USB A port for Local Expansion I/O, with Modbus RTU Master/Slave and ASCII support up to 115.2 kbaud. The unit uses a RJ-45 remote I/O network connector and is configured via two 10-position rotary switches to set its slave address. Built for industrial use, the P3-RX lists UL 508 and CE (EN61131-2) compliance, is rated 0–60 C operation with 5–95% non-condensing humidity, and weighs about 260 g with heat dissipation around 4 W.
