AutomationDirect PD1-AP-3F Proximity Sensor

AutomationDirect PD1-AP-3F is a tubular inductive proximity sensor designed for reliable metal-detection in tight spaces. The sensor measures 5 mm in diameter and 38 mm in length, with a stainless-steel housing and a flush-mounting face that enables close mounting to metal targets. It provides a PNP normally-open output in a 3-wire configuration and uses a 3-pin M8 quick-disconnect connector for fast wiring. The sensing distance is 1.5 mm, and the device operates on 10–30 VDC with a switching frequency up to 3 kHz, suitable for high-speed sensing tasks. It carries an IP67 ingress protection rating, and its RoHS-compliant construction supports use in demanding industrial environments.
