AutomationDirect PY4-AN-1A Metal Sensing Proximity Switch

AutomationDirect PY4-AN-1A is a tubular inductive proximity sensor (metal sensing proximity switch) with a 4 mm diameter and 22 mm body, housed in stainless steel for durability in harsh or washdown environments. It provides a 3-wire NPN NO output and operates on 10–30 VDC, making it compatible with PLC inputs and logic circuits. The sensing distance is 0.6 mm, designed for flush mounting, and it switches up to 5 kHz for fast position sensing on conveyors, end stops, or other metal-target detections. Rated IP67, it resists dust and water ingress, and it ships with a pigtail connection and a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable for flexible installation.
