AutomationDirect Replacement H2-EBC100 Ethernet Base Controller

The H2-EBC100 Ethernet Base Controller for the DL205 base I/O system provides a dedicated Ethernet link between a network master controller or PC and the DL205 remote I/O, and installs in the CPU slot of the DL205 base. It includes an on-board RS-232 serial port for direct PC or operator-interface connections and offers a single RJ-45 port supporting 10/100Base-T Ethernet for TCP/IP communications. The H2-EBC100 supports Modbus TCP/IP on the Ethernet base controller and is compatible with all H2/DL205 discrete and analog I/O modules, as well as the H2-SERIO and H2-CTRIO2 specialty modules. DL205 remote I/O can be located up to 100 meters from the local base using EBC100 slave modules, enabling distributed automation architectures.
