AutomationDirect SIO-MB04RTDS RTD Input Module

The AutomationDirect SIO-MB04RTDS is a STRIDE four-channel RTD input module for Ethernet-based Field I/O that provides isolated, 16‑bit temperature data from Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, and Ni1000 RTDs, with per-channel filtering and fault detection to improve measurement reliability. Each channel is individually selectable for the RTD type via input registers and supports a sensor resistance range of 0 to 50,000 ohms, with four isolated input commons to minimize cross-channel interference, and built-in overcurrent and EMI tolerance. The module includes one Ethernet (RJ45) port offering 10/100 Mbps and operates as a Modbus TCP server, with on-board configuration accessible through a built‑in web server—no separate programming software required. Power is supplied externally from 14 to 30 VDC. As part of AutomationDirect’s STRIDE Field I/O line, the SIO-MB04RTDS is aimed at industrial temperature sensing in machines and processes that use Pt100/PT1000 or Ni100/Ni1000 RTDs, enabling straightforward integration with PLCs and SCADA systems over standard Ethernet networks.
