AutomationDirect SL4824-LR Temperature Controller

The AutomationDirect SL4824-LR is a 1/32 DIN SOLO Standard Temperature Controller that accepts multiple input types (current, voltage, RTD, or thermocouple) and delivers a linear 0–10 V control signal alongside a Form A 3 A relay for load control, all in a single-loop package that can be configured for heat, cool, or heat/cool operation. It features a 2-line LED display (PV and SV) with 7 mm PV digits and 6 mm SV digits, and it runs from 100–240 VAC. The input options cover Pt100 and JPt100 RTDs; thermocouples including J, K, T, N, E, R, S, B, L, U, TXK; and voltage (0–5 V, 0–10 V, 0–50 mV) and current (0–20 mA, 4–20 mA) signals. The outputs include a 0–10 V linear voltage output and a single Form A relay plus one alarm contact, with a choice of control modes such as PID, ON/OFF, ramp/soak, or manual, and it supports RS-485 communications with Modbus RTU (and ASCII) via a 2‑pin terminal. The SL4824-LR is designed for compact panel mounting with 48 × 24 mm dimensions and standard 1/32 DIN cutout, making it suitable for precise temperature control in small processes, lab equipment, and lightweight manufacturing lines.
