AutomationDirect VM1-A0-1H Inductive Proximity Sensor

The VM1-A0-1H is a tubular inductive proximity sensor from AutomationDirect, measuring 12 mm in diameter by 65 mm in length with a nickel-plated brass housing designed for rugged industrial use. It provides a normally open output and a 2 mm flush sensing distance when detecting metal targets, and it switches at about 25 Hz for light-to-moderate-speed applications. Operated from 20–253 VAC and wired through a 4-pin M12 quick-disconnect, the sensor carries IP67 protection for dust and water resistance and supports flush mounting in constrained spaces.
