AutomationDirect VM1-A0-2B Inductive Proximity Switch is a tubular inductive sensor (12 mm diameter, 72 mm body) with a nickel-plated brass housing designed for robust metal detection in industrial environments. It senses metal targets at a nominal 4 mm distance and switches with a normally open output on AC supply (20–253 VAC) at up to 25 Hz, making it suitable for simple position or end-of-travel sensing on automation lines.
