Autonics BJN50-NDT-P Photoelectric Sensor 12-24VDC

Autonics BJN50-NDT-P photoelectric sensor is a compact diffuse-reflective device designed for fast presence detection on 12–24 VDC systems. It uses a red LED at 650 nm and delivers a 50 mm sensing distance for small targets, including opaque or translucent materials, with a minimum target size of Ø0.2 mm copper wire. In diffuse mode it senses surface-reflected light with a sensing target across a 50 mm field and supports both opaque and translucent materials. The sensor provides a PNP open-collector output and supports both light-on and dark-on operation via an internal switch, enabling flexible mounting in tight spaces. With a 1 ms response time, it suits high-speed detection on conveyors or packaging lines. It operates from 12 to 24 VDC with ±10% tolerance and ripple up to 10%, and is built in Autonics’ compact BJ-series housing for reliable operation in industrial environments.
