Autonics BRQM400-DDTA Cylindrical Photoelectric Sensor

The Autonics BRQM400-DDTA is a cylindrical BRQ-series diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor designed for reliable inline sensing, delivering a 400 mm detection range and capable of recognizing both opaque and translucent targets under varied lighting, powered by a 660 nm red LED. Operating from 10-30 VDC (±10% ripple) with a maximum current draw of 30 mA, it provides an NPN open-collector output and supports both Light On and Dark On operation selectable via the control wire; the unit uses a brass, nickel-plated housing with a PMMA lens and comes with a 2 m cable terminated in Ø4 mm, enabling straightforward installation on standard brackets. Built for demanding environments, it carries an IP67 protection rating, accepts ambient temperatures from -25 to 60 C (storage -30 to 70 C), tolerates high ambient illumination up to 11,000 lux sunlight and 3,000 lux incandescent, and offers a fast response time up to 1 ms with up to 20% hysteresis at the rated distance; weight is about 150 g.
