BRQM400-DDTA-P is a cylindrical diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor from Autonics that detects both opaque and translucent targets up to 400 mm away. It operates from 10–30 VDC with ripple tolerance of ±10% (ripple P-P max 10%), draws up to 30 mA, and provides a PNP open-collector control output via a 2 m, Ø4 cable. The unit supports Light ON and Dark ON modes controlled by the signal wire and includes a built‑in sensitivity adjuster for fine-tuning sensing range. Its rugged brass housing with nickel plating, PMMA lens, and IP67 enclosure make it suited for demanding industrial environments, with a operating temperature span of −25 to 60°C (storage −30 to 70°C) and 35–85% RH (storage 35–85% RH), plus compatibility with a wide range of ambient lighting (up to about 11,000 lx sunlight and 3,000 lx incandescent).
