Description:
The BRQP400-DDTA is a cylindrical Autonics photoelectric sensor with a 400 mm sensing distance and a diffuse-reflective sensing type, designed for detecting both opaque and translucent targets. It uses a red 660 nm LED, operates from 10–30 VDC with a maximum current draw of about 30 mA, and delivers an NPN open-collector output. The unit provides selectable Light-On or Dark-On operation via its control wire, and comes with a Ø4 mm, 2 m cable connection. Built to endure harsh industrial environments, it carries IP67 protection and operates from -25 to 60°C (with storage to -30 to 70°C) and 35–85% relative humidity. The housing is polycarbonate with a PMMA lens, weighing approximately 120 g, and features a sensitivity adjuster for setting the desired sensing range. Typical response time is under 1 ms, and the sensor supports a robust 400 mm working distance, making it suitable for parts presence checks, gap detection, and automated packaging lines.
